"Himlavalvet" bridge invites individuals to ascend a structural staircase, offering breathtaking views above tree canopies, fostering a connection with the sky and nature. In today's urban evolution, cities promote diverse interactions, encouraging an active outdoor lifestyle. Combining recreation with Ängelholm's infrastructure, the bridge serves as a destination for play and relaxation, becoming a vital connection and attraction for locals and tourists, fostering a sense of community.

The primary structural arch, simple yet iconic, pays homage to the old railway bridge. Corten structure and wooden flooring blend tradition with Ängelholm's future. Prioritizing a human scale, the bridge maximizes views while minimizing its impact on the surroundings. Nighttime illumination strategically highlights the arch and tension cables, avoiding disturbance to local wildlife.
