Three orthogonal masses whose projections are superimposed on the western façade while extending outward and sliding along one another on the other sides; and a vertical void that links these three masses. As simple and straightforward as possible. These three horizontal masses, which are aligned with specific corners of the site, become the terraces or eaves of other masses with which they come in contact on different sides. On the plan, the western façade, with its fixed projection, forms the wall surface of the garage ramp.

Thanks to the difference in elevation, the basement-floor mass is level with the front garden and the ground-floor mass with the rear garden. This architectural conception is completed by the addition of an inner garden, which approximately coincides with the geometric center of the site and a main stairway that accompanies it vertically.

The most crucial perception achieved on the ground floor was the sense of a continuous perspective that the architects attempted to capture in the north-south direction, starting from the garden gate and including the view of the sea. The Marmara Sea and the freighters on it, which can be seen through the building even from the garden gate when it is open, can be read as if they were virtually inviting you inside the building.
