Two underground stations with singular architecture - Material and frugality for a common language. The particularity in the treatment of these two stations lies in the affirmation of constructive modes of the underground works with the highlighting of the diaphragm walls left exposed, a contemporary transcription of millstone, particularly present in the Viroflaysian landscape.

A succession of concrete arches symbolizing the city deployed in the monumental volume of the quays materializes a peaceful space and hierarchizes the spaces of circulation. These architectonic elements allow to optimize these heavily constrained underground spaces and assert a remarkable identity.

The powerful texture of the structures is then subtly combined with the softness of the materials that accompany the users (wood, glass and stainless steel). The choices of forms, materials and implementation are part of a certain permanence, beyond the trend effects and guarantor of a real durability of the works.
